Then a prince, on whose hand the king [a]leaned, answered the man of God, and said, Though the Lord would make [b]windows in the heaven, could this thing come to pass? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not [c]eat thereof.

Now there were four leprous men at the [d]entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

If we say, We will enter into the city, the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall into the camp of the Aramites: if they save our lives, we shall live: and if they kill us, we are but dead.
